Demo Package
This package is designed to provide working bands
with a clean sounding Demo CD.
If your band is well rehearsed and ready to grind out set
after set of live music, this package is for you. Here is what is included.
Here is how it works: The session will begin around
11AM and conclude at 4PM. . Alternately the
session can begin 2:30PM and go to 6:30 PM without the lunch break. That is 4 hours of
studio time.

Hour
1 – Set up equipment, sound check. If you have your own drums and or
complicated equipment needs this could take a little longer.

Hour
2- – Tracking session. Track as many songs as you like in this period.
Some bands may record a few sets while others may spend all the time on one or
two songs getting a perfect take. In this package the music is recorded live.
Additional tracks (vocals or solo) may be added. Due to time limitations and the
live nature of this session it may not be possible to re-do (punch
in) vocals or instrument takes from the tracking session.

Lunch
hour – There are several fast food, take out and dine in restaurants
within a mile of the studio. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks
to consume on premises.

Hour
3 – Mixdown session. Primarily we want to hear the tracking session and
pick the parts that will go on the final CD. Once the content for the demo is
selected we will mix down the tracks.

Hour
4 – Mastering and CD burning. During this time we will block the mixed
down songs into tracks, name and order the tracks and burn your CD. If
desired the maximizer can be applied to your tracks to give them a
competitive level.
Prologue
– Post processing your demo. Copies
of the individual tracks for each song can be purchased to facilitate alternate
mixdowns, or additional post production. You need to decide to
purchase the individual tracks before you leave, or your session will be deleted.
